There's something magic about Miso soup. A hot, steaming bowl of it is enough to banish my blahs, funks, sleepies, or illnesses for at least a little while. The problem is, and I am trying to change this, I'm lazy. Some day I will make Miso soup from scratch, but until then, I'm so glad that this exists:

Instant Miso soup!

On the left are the seasonings/dried miso and seaweed. On the right, the miso paste.

Emptied into a bowl.

Hot water added!
I also will include this as a side dish for lunch at work. It's much easier to bring a few silver packets than to worry about a container that might leak.
